Fox News anchor John Roberts ended an interview with GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley on Tuesday by using noting her poor polling in South Carolina and asking her, “Why undergo with it?”

“Last query, simply on that entire point of South Carolina, new CBS poll out, displays that Donald Trump is 35 points in advance of you,” Roberts started out, adding:

Now he’s increased his lead. And here’s a query I have. We’re just a little more than every week away from South Carolina in the meanwhile. It looks as if you’re going to enter that contest and lose badly in your house state, which might endlessly be a cloud over your political career. Why go through with it?

“So initially, that’s what they stated earlier than New Hampshire and I obtained forty three% of the vote. Our polls don’t show that that is not what we’re announcing, and we’re going to shut that gap,” Haley replied, sounding extra confident, but in addition brought:

More than that, you’re asking me about my political profession. That’s the problem with politics. Donald Trump’s concerned about his picture. Joe Biden’s involved about his picture. I’m now not involved about mine. I’m worried about the future of America. I’m concerned about my children and what united states of america they develop up in. I’m concerned about your kids and what country they grow up in.

This isn’t private. It’s no longer about me or what happens to me. This is about the fact that if we don’t see how dangerous this can get, it’s already bad. If we don’t turn into a part of the solution and understand that we can alternate it, that’s the issue. I’ll say once more, don’t complain about what happens in a basic election if you don’t play in this major because Donald Trump can’t win a common election.

He’s already mentioned he’s going to spend extra time in court than on the campaign trail. He spent $50 million of campaign contributions against his personal courtroom circumstances. The RNC is broke. Republicans is not going to win for those who proceed down this course. The explanation Donald Trump wants me to get out so badly is as a result of he desires assist paying his court charges. That isn’t the job of the RNC. That’s no longer the job of taxpayers.
