On Thursday, seven workers of The Late Show have been arrested for illegal entry. One of those detained used to be Robert Smigel, the longtime voice of cigar-chewing puppet, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.
The workforce was once on the Capitol remaining week conducting interviews with Democratic lawmakers for a Late Express section. After the interviews concluded, the staffers remained in the halls to movie additional stand-americadespite reportedly no longer having permission to do so when the constructing was closed to visitors. They had been arrested with the aid of Capitol Police.

Hannity addressed the Late Express arrests Monday night, asking, “Where’s the outrage from the Democrats? Aren’t they eager about trespassing and securing the Capitol? Or is that handiest when they may be able to use it to attack Donald Trump?”
Hannity welcomed Chaffetz and asked for his response.
“All you asked for is equal utility of the law,” said the former congressman. If someone breaks the law, they will have to be charged. On the one hand, I’m satisfied that the Capitol Police had the political guts to in fact arrest these people, there’s I think a question as to, how is it that they bought back into the Capitol?”
Chaffetz added, “I want to see these folks prosecuted to the same degree and the same outrage that the left pretends on January 6 individuals.”
