Fox Information host Howard Kurtz reality-checked former President Donald Trump’s senior adviser, Corey Lewandowski, after he falsely claimed that Democrat Hillary Clinton by no means conceded the 2016 presidential election.

All the way through a Sunday interview on MediaBuzz, Kurtz highlighted concerns about possible put up-election unrest if Trump loses the upcoming November vote. Lewandowski brushed aside these fears.

Lewandowski then shifted focal point to the aftermath of the 2016 election, implying that Democrats had no longer well-known Trump’s victory: “Look, the underside line is when Donald Trump won the election in 2016, various Democrats refused to even renowned his success.”

He persisted: “Hillary Clinton called him an illegitimate president dozens of instances; we all know that. Members of congress refused to point out up at his inauguration as a result of they mentioned he wasn’t properly elected, it used to be Russian interference. The bottom line is when Donald Trump wins this election, there’ll be a peaceful transition of energy, and he’ll be the forty seventh President of the USA.”

Kurtz was quick to counter Lewandowski’s narrative, turning in a pointed reality-test: “I do have to show that while Hillary Clinton for sure said those issues, she did concede the election the next day.”
