Fox News contributor Tammy Bruce dismissed issues from conservatives about Jared Kushner potentially advising former President Donald Trump again in a 2nd term, arguing that Kushner was “part of” Trump’s previous success.
On Jesse Watters Primetime, Friday, visitor host Rachel Campos-Duffy asked Bruce for her thoughts on considerations over Kushner’s involvement with Trump.
“Probably the most issues I’ve been listening to from conservatives is they’re very occupied with Jared Kushner’s involvement in Donald Trump’s administration and the final administration,” stated Campos-Duffy. “Does he wish to signal that he’s best going to have The us First, , form of individuals advising him?”
“You already know, ’result in those Abraham Accords had been simply terrible,” Bruce spoke back. “Said nobody ever! Said no one ever!”
Campos-Duffy shot again, “No, I agree! I agree! Pay attention, nobody’s announcing that the Abraham Accords have been… you get what I’m announcing.”
Bruce then launched right into a safety of Kushner and Ivanka Trump, arguing that Trump’s previous administration was once “a a hit administration” and that Kushner was “part of that”:
I wish to remind individuals about his involvement. We don’t comprehend the small print of that specifically, however truly it used to be a successful administration despite the whole lot, and Jared and Ivanka have been a part of that. However I feel any roughly tweaking is in point of fact going to be about, you know, that they need to have extra regulate or they need to exchange something, as everybody who’s operating will have to be themselves. Trump must be himself and everybody else should be themselves and that’s the important thing, is their very own experience, who they are, and what they bring to the table. There will have to be no adjustments to whatever anyone needs who’s operating.
Kushner — as Trump’s son-in-law and one of his more liberal–leaning advisers — was a controversial figure in the administration and ceaselessly discovered himself the subject of criticism through Trump’s supporters.
In March, former Trump senior counselor Kellyanne Conway accused Kushner of making billions of greenbacks from the Trump presidency.
While Kushner has been ambiguous when asked whether or not he would serve as an adviser to Trump once more, Trump claimed in December 2022 that he had asked Kushner to keep away from his 2024 marketing campaign.
“Contrary to Pretend Information reporting, I never requested Jared or Ivanka to be part of the 2024 Campaign for President,” Trump wrote. “If truth be told, particularly requested them not to do it – too imply and nasty with the Faux & Corrupt Information and having to care for some completely horrendous SleazeBags on the earth of politics, and past.”
