Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and NBC’s Kristen Welker received in a heated exchange over President Joe Biden’s danger to droop hands shipments to Israel.

In a fiery clash on NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday, Welker pressed Graham on why it he’s objecting to Biden threatening to withhold hands from Israel when Ronald Reagan used the exact same tactic.

“President Biden just isn’t the primary president to make use of arms shipments to check out to influence Israeli coverage,” Welker said. “As you realize, former President Ronald Reagan on more than one events withheld weapons to impact Israel’s military actions. Did President Reagan show that the use of U.S. military aid as leverage can in reality be an ideal way to rein in and influence Israel’s coverage?”

“Whilst you’re telling the sector you’re going to restrict weapons delivery to the Jewish state, who is fighting a danger right through war for his or her survival, it emboldens Iran,” Graham said. “It emboldens Hamas. [Hamas leader Yahya] Sinwar is most definitely juiced up on the idea. There’s sunlight hours between america and Israel. The hostage deal is more difficult. That is the worst resolution in the historical past of the United States. Israel relationship to disclaim weapons at a time the Jewish state could be destroyed.”

“Historians would say, why is it OK for Reagan to do it and not President Biden?” Welker said.

“Why is it OK for The us to to not to drop two nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki to finish their existential risk war?!” Graham stated. “Why was once it OK for us to do this? I assumed it used to be OK? To Israel: Do whatever it’s important to do to survive as a Jewish state! No matter you have to do!”

“Again, defense force officers say the know-how has modified,” Welker stated.

“These militia officers that you’re talking about are filled with crap!” Graham shot back.
