On the Values Voter Summit on Saturday afternoon, former Fox Information host Glenn Beck attacked leaders of the Republican Party for gelling with Democrats right into a “one-party machine,” and for no longer taking the tea birthday party conservatives at face price over their intention to defund the Affordable Care Act.
“They went to their elements in an election and said that is exactly who I’m and this is exactly what I’m going to do,” Beck said. “And now they’re getting hammered by the click and the Republicans for doing exactly what they mentioned they have been going to do. That’s how the wrong way up the world is!”
“I’m sorry, I live in Texas, all Texans believe that’s precisely what [Ted Cruz (R-TX)] used to be going to do, and that’s why we voted for him!” he continued.

Beck went on to bash a compromise between Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and the Senior Senator from Texas, John Cornyn. “You’re taking a look at a one-party gadget,” Beck mentioned, naming the leaders like Home Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), Senate Minority Chief Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and Home Majority ChiefEric Cantor (R-VA), together with Reid and House Minority Chief Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). “They’re all the same!”
He encouraged his audience to proceed pushing a harder line for GOP legislators. “I’m uninterested in folks announcing, ‘Oh, but we would possibly lose,’” Beck said. “Sure! And we simply would possibly win!”
