The IRS scandal continues to engulf the news cycle as critics from the all sides of the aisle specific outrage and demand anger. While there is more than enough anger to head around, it seems some Republicans had been knowledgeable in regards to the IRS investigation closing summer season. Including Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), the chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

RS inspector normal J. Russell George told Issa, in a letter dated July eleven, 2012, that he used to be investigating the matter and supplied to maintain him updated on the progress. The aide who spoke to ABC Information delivered that George emailed an update in December, pronouncing, “We are leaving no stone unturned as part of our due diligence. As such, we won’t be capable of provide an in depth, substantive briefing until late April/early Could.”
