Representative Sean Duffy (R-WI), who just lately made headlines for a heated trade with Andrea Mitchell, went after any other MSNBC anchor on Wednesday morning, this time telling Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski that she was once “part of the problem” for no longer urgent liberal friends on Obamacare.
“Mika, my mother is an effective liberal,” Duffy said. “She loves you, she’s chuffed I’m on the express. However I believe are you part of the difficulty.”
“The Republican caucus every now and then can also be unreasonable,” Duffy defined. “However look how a long way we need to move. We said we need to defund [Obamacare]. Now we need to extend it. Now we’re simply going to ask for some very simple tweaks and reforms. In case you in truth referred to as out your liberal friends and stated, ‘Why received’t you sign up for for Obamacare? If it’s excellent for Americans, why isn’t it good for you?’”
“You have a lot of excellent questions,” Brzezinski mentioned (“I like asking you questions higher, Mika,” he said). “However as ‘a part of the issue,’ as you so kindly put it, I’ll ask you, very honestly: do you now not think that members of your birthday celebration, particularly in Congress and in the Ted Cruz (R-TX) crew aren’t imploding the Republican Birthday Celebration, big image? ”
“Big picture, I believe this used to be a horrible strategy,” Duffy mentioned. “I got here to your convey and I stated that. If we had allowed Obamacare to roll out and for 2 weeks The us saw the dysfunction, after which as we roll into if debt restrict and negotiate a rise, I feel we might have gotten a one-year delay, as a result of The usa would have said this is simplest the honest and right thing to do.”
“From a messaging standpoint, congressman, I believe you,” Brzezinski stated. “And your mother is fabulous.”
