Newsmax host Greg Kelly isn’t happy with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) after leaked audio confirmed McCarthy wanted Trump out of place of work after the Jan. 6 Capitol rebellion.

In a recording of a telephone call among Home Republican leadership on Jan. 10, 2021,  Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) asks McCarthy, if he thinks Donald Trump will resign after inflaming a violent mob that later stormed the Capitol.

“My intestine tells me no, I’m seriously pondering of getting that conversation with him tonight. I haven’t talked to him in a few day,” McCarthy spoke back. “From what I know of him, I mean you guys recognize him too, do you think he’d ever back away? But, what I think I’m going to do, is I’m going to name him.”

Kelly addressed these comments on Friday.

“Kevin McCarthy. Republican, they say?” he mused. “I’ve all the time had my doubts about him, but now? Well, they’re verified.”

The host aired a separate audio clip of McCarthy declaring he will discuss to Trump about resigning, as he perceived to believe Congress would vote to impeach and convict the president.

“I think the one discussion I’d have with him is that I believe this will go, and it would be my recommendation you will have to resign. I mean, that might be my take,” stated McCarthy. “However I don’t suppose he would take it. However I don’t know.”

Kelly repeated McCarthy’s phrases and shredded the House minority chief.

“Kevin McCarthy is a swamp snake,” he mentioned. “He’s a occupation baby-kisser, and we don’t like him. Very well? He doesn’t belong there, and in a moment of situation, he moist his pants. Sorry. And he used to be outflanked by means of Liz Cheney of all folks!”

The host paradoxically requested if McCarthy ever spoke with the Democratic leadership in regards to the civil unrest in 2020 amid the Black Lives Matter protests.

“And he says the president will have to resign after one rebellion – that may have been facilitated by way of Democrats oh by way of the way in which?”
