Maggie Haberman with The New York Instances suggested Friday evening that former President Donald Trump phoned her after his airplane was once pressured into an emergency touchdown in Montana to rail towards the paper’s protection of his Thursday presser.

Trump was reportedly fuming a few refuted claim he once boarded a helicopter with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown and threatened to sue the Occasions over its coverage of the story.

The former president mentioned on Thursday, “I know Willie Brown very neatly. In fact, I went down in a helicopter with him. We concept perhaps this is the end. We have been in a helicopter going to a definite location together, and there was an emergency landing… This was once not a pleasant touchdown, and Willie was once, he was once somewhat involved. So I know him, I know him lovely neatly. I mean, I haven’t viewed him in years.”

Trump also claimed Brown shared with him unflattering details about Harris, who he previously dated.

Brown denied the story more than one occasions Friday. In line with Haberman, Trump was agitated after his airplane touched down in Billings, Montana, after a pronounced mechanical difficulty. She stated:

Former President Donald J. Trump on Friday afternoon vehemently maintained that he had once been in a dangerous helicopter touchdown with Willie Brown, the former mayor of San Francisco, and insisted he had records to prove it, despite Mr. Brown’s denial. In an indignant phone name to a New York Times reporter as he landed a couple of hours faraway from his deliberate rally in Bozeman, Mont., on account of a mechanical issue on his airplane, Mr. Trump excoriated The Occasions for its coverage of his meandering news convention on Thursday at Mar-a-Lago, his non-public club and residential, right through which he advised of an emergency landing right through a helicopter go back and forth that he said each he and Mr. Brown had made together.

Habreman delivered:

“We’ve got the flight data of the helicopter,” Mr. Trump insisted Friday, announcing the helicopter had landed “in a container,” and indicating that he meant to release the flight information, ahead of shouting that he was “most certainly going to sue” over the Instances article. When asked to produce the flight records, Mr. Trump spoke back satirically, repeating the request in a sing-track voice. As of early Friday evening, he had not provided them.

Brown mentioned on Friday, “I’ve by no means been in a helicopter with [Trump] in my lifestyles.”
