Whereas on vacation in Lake Tahoe, President Joe Biden reacted to Donald Trump‘s mugshot for the primary time, but was met with boos and jeers from an unfriendly crowd.

The former president had his mugshot taken on Thursday evening will arrested in Fulton County Penal complex over expenses that he allegedly tried to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia. Republicans, together with Trump himself, and Democrats have used the image of Trump to fundraise and garner reinforce from their voters.

In the meantime, Biden, who is on vacation in the Sierra Nevada Mountains with his family, gave his first reaction to the mugshot on Friday afternoon. All the way through Trump’s three different criminal indictments, Biden has been cautious to now not react or provide public statements to the click on his political rival’s prison troubles.

However, because the president approached the cameras, boos and chants of, “We don’t need you right here” will be heard from the crowd at the same time as Biden tried to talk with journalists.

“Have you viewed Donald Trump’s mugshot yet,” a reporter requested the president.

“I did see it on television,” responds Biden responds with a smile as boos will be heard within the distance. “Handsome guy. Glorious man.”
