Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) insisted on Tuesday that his personal pet scandal used to be completely different from the present controversy surrounding Gov. Kristi Noem’s determination to shoot and kill her pet.
Romney’s political occupation has been time and again haunted by a 1983 incident where he drove for 12 hours together with his dog on high of the auto, which resulted in the animal suffering from diarrhea.
Chatting with journalists on Tuesday, Romney insisted that his personal earlier incident used to be nothing like Noem’s decision to kill her 14-month-outdated puppy Cricket after it killed a few chickens and proved “less than worthless” as a trained searching canine.
