Former President Donald Trump mocked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for his footwear, claiming his Republican rival wears 6-inch heels throughout a New Hampshire rally.

On Saturday, the Republican frontrunner spoke to supporters in Claremont, New Hampshire where hammered his opposition in the GOP primary, singling out DeSantis for his selection of shoes.

Trump himself along together with his supporters have begun mocking DeSantis for wearing boots, claiming he’s carrying 6-inch heels to lift his height. DeSantis denied these allegations previously however has mostly omitted Trump’s new insults.

The insults started coming at DeSantis when Trump mentioned the NBC Information Debate on Wednesday night time, claiming that DeSantis struggled to stroll around on the stage as a result of his boots.

“I’m no longer wearing lifts either, by the best way. I don’t have six inch heels,” Trump blurted out to the target audience. “Actually the best second of the controversy when Ron was once strolling round, Desanctimonious used to be, strolling off the stage. And his ft. It’s weird as a result of his cowboy boots, so they have got a high heel outside. But inside you got a tremendous deal going on and he’s walking away.”

Trump then starts offevolved to stroll faraway from the rostrum together with his arms flailing in the air as he pretends to have a troublesome time walking. His insults and jests have been met with laughs and applause from the MAGA crowd.

“He’s walking off the stage like he’s seeking to balance himself. I thought he was once carrying ice skates. No, what distinction does that make, Right? What distinction while you take into accounts it, what difference does that make,” Trump concluded.
