CNN anchor Jim Acosta signed off from CNN Newsroom on Sunday for the final time, thanking his workforce and the viewers, as neatly his guest Shanlon Wu, who brought a gift for occasion.

As a part of the newest in an extended sequence of fixing schedules on the community, Acosta is moving from his post web hosting a couple of hours of weekend protection at CNN to the weekday line-up, internet hosting CNN Newsroom at 10 a.m.

CNN’s This Morning is slimming down from the current 6 to 9 block to a trim and early 5 to 7, hosted by means of Kasie Hunt.

Acosta’s lead-in for his 10am show will be CNN News Central, so that it will run from 7 to 10, a newsier layout to interchange the morning convey format that launched underneath former CNN chief Chris Licht.

Sunday was once Acosta’s last weekend exhibit, and he returns with the morning time every week from Monday.

On his ultimate episode, he was once joined through quite a few common friends, including Wu, who introduced a bottle of wine that Acosta showed off in his signal-off, thanking Wu and the opposite friends who joined him for the final go.

“Thanks a lot for spending part of your weekends with me these last few years,” Acosta stated, addressing viewers. “I will see you quickly.”
