Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) expressed difficulty on the Home floor on Tuesday that Islamic “Sharia legislation” will soon be “pressured upon the American people.”

Right through a strange rant, Roy questioned, “How many marketing campaign commercials, how many speeches are going to be given via my Republican colleagues between now and November about what they will do to secure the border? And what are they doing presently? Shrugging! ‘Sorry! Can’t do the rest!’”

He protested, “We’re shrugging it off! We’re pretending it’s no longer going down! I imply, is anyone paying attention to what’s going down in London?!”

Roy – who has many times attacked Republicans, including former President Donald Trump, for no longer doing sufficient to protect the southern border – then claimed:
