CNN political commentator Alice Stewart drew laughs from her colleagues as she broke down the implications of former President Donald Trump rejecting folks that tried to inform him he misplaced the 2020 election.

Stewart joined Don Lemon, Dana Bash, and Elliot Williams on Monday night time to talk about the January 6 Committee’s listening to about Trump’s perpetuation of the Large Lie, whilst people like Invoice Stepien and Invoice Barr disregarded his claims. Requested for her thoughts on how the listening to performed out, Stewart summarized “It seems bad. For years we’ve heard individuals say that Donald Trump is deranged or indifferent from fact from Democrats. Now, lately, we’re hearing it from, as you’ve stated, members of his internal circle.”

From there, Stewart remarked on how Stepien and Barr consisted of “Crew Standard” amongst Trump’s advisers, whilst Rudy Giuliani was once allegedly drunk on election evening in 2020, when he informed Trump he must declare victory ahead of millions of votes had been counted.

“But [Trump] chooses to move with Group Whiskey Tango Foxtrot with Rudy Giuliani, who is inebriated. That does go to point out that he definitely has some detachment from reality,” Stewart stated. “This can be a drawback for lots of causes, as a result of, these are those that wished him to win, clearly wanted him to win…Rudy Giuliani has had more than 60 times to produce the Kraken in a court of regulation to show the election was fraudulent. He has come up with nothing.”

Bash laughed at Stewart’s remarks in view that “whiskey tango foxtrot” happens to be a euphemism for “WTF.” Lemon picked up on that as he wound up laughing too after the belief.
