CNN’s Jake Tapper grilled Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) as as to if he licensed of elected lawmakers reporting meeting with Elon Musk to “beg” him not to kill jobs of their districts.
Tapper stated Musk’s cuts thru DOGE put first-alert climate forecasters in Oklahoma in jeopardy sooner than their voice within the House – Rep. Tom Cole (R-OK) – intervened on their behalf.

On Sunday’s State of the Union, Tapper pressed Scott about whether or not he had any objection to Cole and others asking Musk to protect jobs for their constituents.
