Hours after the 2d public listening to of the Jan. 6 committee adjourned Monday, CNN’s Erin Burnett requested committee member Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) about some of the extra colorful stories.
Jason Miller, a former adviser to Donald Trump, informed the committee that on election night time in 2020, Rudy Giuliani advised to Trump that he declare victory prior to hundreds of thousands of outstanding votes had been counted. Trump did so, infamously declaring, “Frankly, we did win this election.”
Miller also said Giuliani used to be drunk.
“The mayor used to be no doubt intoxicated, however I do not know his stage of intoxication when he spoke with the president, as an example,” Miller testified in a taped session aired throughout Monday’s listening to.
Burnett asked Raskin in regards to the remark.
