Keilar asked Raskin, who serves on the Jan. 6 committee, if he had any evidence that documents are in the arms of Trump’s pals.
“I don’t imagine you will have evidence to support that,” she said. “However you’re elevating that question for a reason. Why is that? What informs you, raising that question?”
“Smartly, once more, I’m conversing simply as one person,” Raskin answered. “But my question would be, where are the lacking paperwork? You know, who would have pastime in these?”
Keilar asked him why Trump would share such delicate materials.
“I do not know,” he spoke back. “We saw right through the Trump presidency, Donald Trump siding with quite a lot of overseas powers and autocrats against our personal intelligence products and services, against our personal Congress, towards the people of the United States. So, you recognize, I don’t know what’s taking place in this explicit case, but it’s just attention-grabbing to me that individuals are afraid that there used to be an impairment of nationwide security and the integrity of democratic govt.”
