In an excerpt from his latest interview with Jeb Bush shown on CNN’s The Lead Friday, Jake Tapper requested the previous Florida governor about his brother’s recently revealed painting hobby. The reply he acquired published more about Jeb’s view of George W. Bush than he ever will have anticipated.

“He is like essentially the most targeted, disciplined man,” Jeb Bush said about his brother. “To think about being a former president and no longer having an opinion on anything over the last 4 years, actually?” he said in seeming disbelief.

From there, Jeb Bush tested the difference between he and George W. Bush via indicating that he wouldn’t have been in a position to stay so silent right through President Obama’s first term. “I imply, to have that self-discipline,” he persevered, “to be respectful of the president that hasn’t been as respectful of him as he must had been? Man, I could have by no means achieved that.”

At last, bringing his resolution back round to Tapper’s relatively tame query, Jeb Bush said, “The whole lot he units his thoughts to he does — he wants to be excellent at. And he’s actually develop into a great painter.”

The prolific painting does lend a hand give an explanation for what George W. Bush has been up considering leaving office. Unlike other former presidents and lawmakers, he has kept remarkably silent and secluded. Does he actually haven’t any opinions on political and policy matters as his brother suggests? Or has he just made up our minds to maintain them to himself?
