Washington Post know-how columnist Taylor Lorenz has had her Twitter account restored after being in brief suspended on the platform.

Lorenz’s account used to be pulled Saturday after she asked Twitter CEO Elon Musk for comment on a possible story. Musk referred to as the suspension brief, claiming it stemmed from a “prior doxxing motion.” But Lorenz shared an e mail calling the ban everlasting.

But shortly after 12 p.m. ET, Lorenz back to Twitter — making her comeback respectable by means of sharing a meme:

Ratings of journalists got here to Lorenz’s defense, as did the Washington Post — whose government editor Sally Buzbee mentioned in a statement: “The arbitrary suspension of any other Put up journalist additional undermines Elon Musk’s declare that he intends to run Twitter as a platform dedicated to free speech.
