White Home Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre downplayed the gaffe that President Joe Biden made whereas speaking at a marketing campaign fundraiser.

In a recent speech, Biden puzzled French President Emmanuel Macron with the former leader François Mitterrand, who died in 1996.

“So, I know there’s been various focal point on this,” Jean Pierre began, ahead of hailing Biden’s skill for storytelling.

“I want to just step again for a 2d and just kind of think, really roughly high stage, what the president was once talking about. When he was having, as he tells the story, when he was once having these conversations with world leaders, which might be obviously essential conversations.

“It occurs to every body, it is common. But I do wish to make sure that we don’t overlook what the overarching kind of theme, what he’s looking to say about our management on the arena stage,” Jean-Pierre said.
