Do we but be aware of the answers? And do we even wish to be aware of the solutions?”
Have we in point of fact come to a time and position where spirited debate is just not most effective frowned upon, but feared? The place individuals’s finest issue is being fired, shamed or cancelled? All over much of his profession, the seven-time Tour de France winner faced accusations of doping. He continuously denied it except eventually admitting to using performance-bettering drugs in 2013. Armstrong was then stripped of his titles.
On account of this, users found it atypical that Armstrong was questioning the idea of equity in the case of trans athletes in sports activities.
Man who used to be stripped of all his competitive awards for years of cheating in his game thinks he’s uniquely qualified to say the tiny collection of trans ladies athletes (fewer than a hundred in the United States) has unfair advantage and claims it–now not doping–is THE issue in sport today. Take a seat down. https://t.co/XgYqWMRNfm

Folks also took difficulty with Armstrong’s declare of individuals being “fired” and “canceled” making an allowance for his try and break the reputations of any person that tried to speak out on his use of PEDs. He notoriously called his former masseuse an “alcoholic” and a “whore” in response to her conversing out.
when Lance Armstrong’s soigneur (therapeutic massage therapist) testified about his doping, he characterized her as an “alcoholic” and a “whore”.
he also ruined Greg LeMond’s (best American to win the TdF, who called on Armstrong to admit to doping) industry relationship with Trek. https://t.co/vhOCDqa3Uu
