Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) expressed surprising indifference about who wields the gavel in the Home of Representatives.
The destiny of Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) might quickly be put to a vote after Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) filed a movement to vacate the chair and is now threatening to power that vote. Raju also spoke with Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), who dislikes the theory of voting to keep Johnson as speaker.

“No, I’m not,” Bowman replied, including that Jeffries should be speaker.
Raju reported that Greene will grasp a press conference on Wednesday morning to announce if she desires to proceed with a vote.
Johnson changed into speaker in October after Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) was removed from the place. Below current Home principles, one member may file a motion to vacate the chair and force a vote on whether to take away the speaker.
