Reform UK has reputedly thrown open its doorways to GB News host and suspended Conservative MP Lee Anderson becoming a member of the birthday celebration.
Anderson refused to backtrack from his claims about London Mayor Sadiq Khan being under the affect of “Islamists” throughout a GB Information interview on Friday, comments that saw him lose the Tory whip on Saturday.
As the fallout spread in the course of the weekend and the Tory celebration confronted down allegations of “systemic Islamophobia” throughout the birthday celebration, Anderson appeared to double down. In a observation issued Monday afternoon Anderson admitted that his selection of phrases “may have been clumsy” but “had been borne out of sheer frustration at what is happening to our gorgeous capital metropolis.” He stated the “vast majority” of Muslim contributed positively to Britain but condemned “a tiny minority of extremists” attending professional-Palestine marches and the “abject disasters” of Kahn in addressing them.
He delivered: “However whilst you assume you are proper, you must by no means apologise because to do so would be an indication of weak point.”
Anderson finished through calling on voters to “get Kahn out” at the next mayoral election.
Soon after, Reform UK leader Richard Tice issued his personal observation on X and wrote: Anderson’s “sentiments are supported through thousands and thousands of British voters, including myself.”
Reform UK, which rose from the Brexit Celebration’s ashes beneath the leadership of Richard Tice and the watchful eye of Nigel Farage, Anderson’s colleague at GB News, has put itself to the Conservative Birthday Party’s right for these disappointed with its present direction.
Ripping into the “unpleasant” professional-Palestine demonstrations which have taken place in London considering that Hamas’ attack on October 7 and the next Israeli militia campaign in Gaza, Tice wrote: “Excessive Islamists are developing a sense of concern and intimidation in our capital. With each failure to crack down on their behaviour, they change into emboldened.”
He persisted: “The Jewish neighborhood is scared; Londoners are scared; MPs are scared; the Speaker is scared. Even the police seem too scared to do what they’re purported to maintain the peace in our capital: arrest people who demonstrably ruin the legislation.”
Tice brought: “I do not and will not provide a running commentary on any discussions I’ve with any MPs, but these MPs have my number.”
