On his radio show this afternoon, Rush Limbaugh perceived to wave the white flag over his opposition to comparable-intercourse marriage. “This difficulty is misplaced,” he said. “This is now inevitable” that homosexual marriage will come to cross, regardless of how the Supreme Court docket principles on two separate instances related to the problem.

“We lost the issue when we started allowing the phrase ‘marriage’ to be bastardized and redefined,” Limbaugh explained, pointing the finger at “the left,” whom he believes has attempted to co-opt the phrase “marriage” to head past its definition.

“Once you decide to switch the word marriage then the other aspect has won,” he lamented. “The best thing that marriage had going for it used to be mainly what they educate you the primary day in law faculty: If you happen to dangle on a horse the signal that claims ‘Cow,’ it does no longer make it a cow.”

“Even if lately it would,” he delivered. “And that’s the place we’re as of late.”

Limbaugh went on to dismiss the perception that anti-LGBT discrimination plays any role in the identical-sex marriage struggle: “Discrimination is not a subject and never used to be. No person smart is against giving homosexuals the rights of contract, or inheritance, or medical institution visits. There’s no person that wishes to deny them that. The difficulty has at all times been denying them a standing that they may be able to’t have by definition.”

“And with the aid of definition,” he concluded, “related sex folks can’t be married.”
