Mark Halperin advised Newsmax on Thursday that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg “bent the knee” to President-opt for Donald Trump all the way through their Wednesday meeting at Mar-a-Lago.

The declare was made weeks after Trump won the 2024 election and months after the former and future president threatened to throw Zuckerberg in prison.

As The New York Times suggested, Zuckerberg traveled to Florida to meet with Trump and to “establish a favorable rapport” with him.

The 2 reportedly loved a pre-Thanksgiving dinner.

On Newsmax TV’s National Report Thursday afternoon, Halperin instructed the community that sources with reference to the assembly relayed to him that Zuckerberg declared his fealty to Trump. Halperin said:

In line with my sources, even though there have been chairs at the dinner table, Mark Zuckerberg bent the knee, as a result of any CEO now knows that Donald Trump is the brand new sheriff on the town they usually wish to be on as excellent of terms as imaginable. These two have had an on-once more, off-again relationship. And I feel it’s beautiful clear that flying to Mar-a-Lago, one of the most richest folks on the earth, one of the influential on social media, to return to Mar a Lago to take a look at to fix fences and talk about a typical agenda. The Trump individuals are being very gracious about it. But my suspicion is Donald Trump is smiling a little bit bit by the virtue of what’s taking place all around him, which is world CEOs need to be part of his administration now.

In August, Trump took to his Fact Social account and threatened to imprison Zuckerberg for “existence” after accusing the tech CEO of weaponizing Fb in opposition to him.

“We are observing him intently, and if he does anything unlawful this time he will spend the remainder of his life in prison — as will others who cheat in the 2024 Presidential Election,” Trump wrote.
