MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski warned that Republicans and proper-wing media have already launched a “hate campaign” towards Vice President Kamala Harris, counseled by way of President Joe Biden after he announced his withdrawal from the 2024 election race.

Brzezinski, who remained loyal to and protecting of Biden following his disastrous presidential debate performance, accused conservative media personalities of “purposefully pronounce her identify incorrect” as proof of partisan retailers looking to “start it churning” towards the an increasing number of doubtless nominee.

The Morning Joe host began the exhibit by reflecting on Biden, calling him a “patriot” who “had authenticity and touch.”

Brzezinski said:

Let’s move on. It’s go time. Democrats in reality have a second of momentum right here, and my hope is that they grasp it and run with it. Get unified. Get organized. Get coordinated. No more infighting. Donald Trump isn’t simple to beat. He is not easy to beat, and any individual who thinks he’s… is in 2016 when they’re laughing at the idea that. Rounding on proper-wing media and Republicans, she persisted:

I’ve heard from within Republican circles and proper-wing media that the hate campaign in opposition to Kamala Harris has begun. You’ll notice they purposefully pronounce her title wrong. They are saying Kamala. They do it at all times. It’s on goal. However the speak is to begin that hate campaign and get it going and start it churning.

Repeating her call for unity within the face of the pushback, the host delivered:

My hope is that main Democrats and main Republicans from the Obamas to the Bush domestic to military leaders get at the back of the democracy ticket and we transfer on. During the show as of late, we’ll see, Willie, if prime Democrats are going to get on board with Kamala Harris.
