Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) began her interview with MSNBC’s Yasmin Vossoughian a tad early on Saturday, caught on a scorching mic reacting to phrases from Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA), throwing everyone a bit of off.

Vossoughian was once airing footage of Kennedy criticizing the Inflation Reduction Act, one thing he has mentioned will lift prices for consumers, when Hirono can be heard commenting, “what is he talking about?”

Kennedy was referring to the inflation invoice as large “government spending.” He’s argued lately the invoice will further raise prices for meals, gasoline, and extra.
