Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) is recommending that “full loser” former Home Speaker Kevin McCarthy “get a job.”
“The former speaker needs to get a job. I feel that’s the problem: He’s bored and doesn’t understand what to do with himself,” Mace stated all the way through a dialogue on the Politico Playbook Deep Dive podcast.
Mace was once one of eight Republicans who voted to oust McCarthy from the House speakership final year. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) made the original movement to vacate.
In line with Mace, it’s McCarthy who put the Republican Birthday Party’s majority “in danger.”
“He’s a complete loser. He couldn’t maintain his job as speaker, and he stop on the Republican Birthday Celebration. He end his job. He put our majority at risk,” she mentioned.
Mace said she trusts present House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and prefers his management fashion to that of McCarthy.
