Ryan Ferguson left jail tonight after his murder sentence used to be overturned by using an appeals courtroom, and after he used to be launched a free man he held a press conference to speak about his experience, thank people for his or her toughen, and tackle the difficulty of wrongful convictions in the American justice device.
He stated, “To get charged for a criminal offense you didn’t commit, it’s extremely simple, and that you may lose your life very fast, but to get out of prison, it takes a military.”
Ferguson said he needs to be an advocate for different wrongly convicted individuals and help them get their sentences overturned, beginning with Charles Erickson, his good friend and the man whose testimony helped convict him within the first position. Ferguson said Erickson was once “used and manipulated,” and he “does not belong in prison.”
He also stated the primary meals he needs now that he’s out is a few Dairy Queen.
