U.S. Secretary of Safety Pete Hegseth on Saturday bashed a federal judge over her determination this week that put an indefinite injunction towards the potential of a ban on transgender troops serving within the military.

U.S. District Court docket Judge Ana Reyes issued a sweeping injunction Tuesday against banning transgender volunteers and present servicemembers from serving in the armed forces, a policy process that commenced with President Donald Trump issuing an government order on militia readiness all over his flurry of orders within the first week of his term.

Reyes blasted the ban in her frank, 75-web page choice, writing that, “The Militia Ban is soaked in animus and dripping with pretext. Its language is unabashedly demeaning, its coverage stigmatizes transgender persons as inherently unfit, and its conclusions undergo no relation to reality.”

Reyes delivered that “the Court is aware of that this opinion will lead to heated public debate and appeals,” and stated that, “in a healthy democracy, both are sure effects.”

Hegseth, in a Saturday social media post, shared a Washington Occasions story on the choice and delivered commentary trashing Reyes.
