High Minister Rishi Runak has fired aide Paul Bristow after he submitted a letter to Sunak advocating for a ceasefire.

Downing Boulevard commented that Bristow, elected MP for Peterborough, was “asked to leave his publish in government following feedback that weren’t in line with the rules of collective accountability.”

Britsow, serving as parliamentary personal secretary (PPS) for the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, despatched a letter to the Prime Minister on Thursday. Whereas he acknowledged and preferred Mr. Sunak’s previous week’s recommendation for “particular pauses” in the warfare, Bristow additional argued: “A permanent ceasefire would save lives and permit for a persisted flow of humanitarian assist to reach the people who need it the most.”
