Tucker Carlson spoke with Vladimir Putin in an interview aired on Thursday, all the way through which the Russian president advised Carlson that there’s nothing to “work out” relating to the invasion of Ukraine.

alThough Putin stated within the interview he’s open to “negotiations,” he said the U.S. and its allies must first cease providing weapons to Ukraine so that Russia can defeat the united states “in a number of weeks.” As such, any so-referred to as “negotiations” would appear to contain Ukraine’s defeat or give up.

The interview options an introduction from Carlson explaining he spoke with Putin on the Kremlin on Tuesday. Carlson mentioned that during the interview, Putin seemed “straightforward” in his perception that Russia is entitled to the territory of Ukraine, which Russia invaded in February 2022. PUTIN: What’s there to determine? It’s very simple. I repeat, we’ve got contacts via various businesses. I’ll tell you what we are announcing on this topic and what we are conveying to the U.S. leadership. In case you in point of fact wish to stop combating, you wish to stop offering weapons. It’ll be over within just a few weeks. That’s it. And then we can agree on some phrases sooner than you do that, stop. What’s more straightforward? Why would I name him? What must I discuss to him about? Or beg him for what?

CARLSON: And what messages do you get again?

PUTIN: You were going to deliver such and such weapons to Ukraine. Oh, I’m afraid, I’m afraid. Please don’t. What is there to talk about?

Elsewhere in the interview, Putin stated possible “negotiations,” but he did not specify what he could be willing to accept. For the reason that beginning of the struggle, Putin has again and again mentioned he aims to get rid of Ukraine’s executive and demilitarize the united states of america.
