For some reason, sports rivalries all the time appear to get folks so worked up, and occasionally individuals let their thoughts get the simpler of them. Living proof, when the Seattle Seahawks misplaced to the Arizona Cardinals, one Washington state representative took to Twitter to bash Arizona as a “racist desolate tract.”

Democrat Joe Fitzgibbon was gazing the Seahawks play on Sunday, and he also happens to be an ardent foe of Arizona’s policy against immigrants. So when the Cardinals beat his staff, he didn’t dangle back in taking a beautiful large swipe at the state.

He ended up deleting the tweet and posting not an apology, but only a clarification of why he tweeted it in the first place.

Fitzgibbon additionally defended himself in an interview, saying he used to be just enticing in commonplace sports trash discuss and “if folks are going to take that too significantly, then I’m sorry about that.”
