Republican Congressman Calls on Texas to Ignore Supreme Court Ruling Because Biden Is ‘Staging a Civil War’

Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) accused President Joe Biden’s administration of “staging a civil war” on Monday and known as on Texas to “stand their floor” over the border.

After the Supreme Court ruled in prefer of the Biden administration in its battle with Texas for control of the southern border, Higgins weighed in on social media.

“My thoughts are that the feds are staging a civil warfare, and Texas must stand their ground,” wrote Higgins.

As the location on the southern border continues to deteriorate, the state of Texas has taken issues into its own palms.

Prior this month, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and the Texas Nationwide Defend seized keep an eye on of a part of the southern border, banning federal Border Patrol marketers from coming into and prohibiting migrants from crossing into the USA.

On Monday, the Supreme Court voted 5-4 in enhance of the Biden administration and ruled that federal retailers may do away with sections of barbed wire to allow migrants into the united states.

In keeping with the ruling, a spokesperson for Gov. Abbott argued, “The absence of razor wire and other deterrence strategies encourages migrants to make risky and unlawful crossings between ports of entry.”

He introduced, “This case is ongoing, and Governor Abbott will continue combating to shield Texas’ property and its constitutional authority to stable the border.”

Abbott instructed Dana Loesch this month, “We’re deploying every tool and technique that we probably can. The only factor that we’re not doing is we’re now not capturing people who come across the border as a result of, in fact, the Biden administration would cost us with murder.”
