Those of you on the lookout for excellent news this weekend is also delighted to listen to that racism has ended.

That’s in step with the Republican Nationwide Committee’s tweet Sunday morning, which congratulated civil rights hero Rosa Parks, on the anniversary of her seminal protest, for “her function in ending racism.”

One or two or a pair hundred folks disagreed with RNC’s review that racism had “ended,” with some soliciting for the particular date and time of its dying.

One stalwart 140-personality slinger tried to shield the tweet as bad phrasing on the RNC’s part:

And one commenter tried to provide the RNC a sliver of a good thing about the doubt:

The tweet did be capable of jumpstart an ironic hashtag, #RacismEndedWhen. The internet’s been having a ball with that for about an hour now:
