2024 Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis told Newsmax host Eric Bolling that he wouldn’t “let the b*stards” grind him or his spouse down after Politico printed an “absolutely disgusting” article on Casey DeSantis.

All over an interview with DeSantis on Newsmax’s The Balance, Bolling requested DeSantis about Politico’s “beautiful extreme hit piece on your wife, Casey,” which he known as “disgusting.”

“Smartly look, these are folks which can be backside of the barrel type folks, and all they’re trying to do is personality assassination,” DeSantis stated:

They use nameless sources. They use those who don’t even recognize Casey to check out to smear her. But the purpose they’re doing this is why they be aware of she’s a very sturdy lady. She’s a good looking wife and my best possible friend, nice mom, however she’s made a huge difference within the state of Florida… The left and the media comprehend people love her. Politico revealed “The Casey DeSantis Downside: ‘His Finest Asset and His Best Legal responsibility’” last week, which quoted Trump ally Roger Stone, among others, who compared Casey DeSantis to Shakespeare’s Lady Macbeth.

“I feel it makes her more suitable, ’cause I feel you have got a possibility to say, seem, you’re both gonna let the bastards grind you down, or you’re not,” he went on, concluding that neither he nor his wife have been “going to cower within the face of newspapers and blogs attacking us.”
