Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) raised eyebrows on Wednesday when he informed the Wall Side road Journal that if Roe v. Wade is overturned abortion may get a “little messy for some individuals,” but he doesn’t expect it to be an important difficulty within the 2022 midterm elections.
Johnson, who’s operating for reelection in a state Joe Biden narrowly gained in 2020, advised the Journal that women in his state might go back and forth to Illinois to get abortions if wanted.
