Donald Trump’s $399 golden kicks that he printed eventually weekend’s SneakerCon have been roasted in all places, and now Saturday Evening Are living has released a film parody concerning the shoes’ energy of transformation with White Men Can Trump.

The parody used to be a take on the 1992 basketball comedy, White Men Can’t Bounce, starring Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes. However, instead of giving SNL’s Shane Gillis’ persona the ability to be an actual baller, the sneakers permit him to convince others that he’s all that on the court and in his in the past depressing lifestyles.

The piece opens with Gillis’ character, a 30-year old loser who “couldn’t catch a spoil at work, in love, and especially on the court docket,” as he takes aim and misses badly whereas “going for three.”

“However that’s all about to change,” the voiceover proclaims, as Gillis discovers a shoebox has magically regarded in his fitness center locker with the inscription, “Gordon, thought you should use these,” signed by using Donald J. Trump himself.

The former loser speedy learns that “winning is a state of mind,” as the shoes gave him the power “to assert I’m just right at basketball, then double down on that unless folks if truth be told start to believe it,” his personality says, in a play on Trump’s braggadocio and skill to persuade MAGA followers that up is down and down is up.

Suddenly, the sneakers grow to be the persona, all the way from his Trumpian accent to his presidential coif.
