Stephen A. Smith went after Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady after a controversial roughing the passer penalty was called late in Sunday’s recreation.

On First Take, Smith believed Brady was in search of a call from the referee after he was taken to the bottom on a sack by using Atlanta Falcons lineman Grady Jarret. That would have introduced up fourth down for the Buccaneers and they’d were compelled to punt. The controversial penalty resulted in a Buccaneers first down, and they were ready to run the clock out. The Buccaneers beat the Falcons 21-15.

Smith disagreed that the penalty used to be right, and likewise called out Brady’s integrity for turning to the ref and looking a name.

“I’m beautiful ashamed of Tom Brady too because Tom Brady looked on the ref and was once on the lookout for a name,” Smith said.”I do know win at all value, but damn.”

“Talk about taking the competitive fervor out of the mix, win quite,” Smith added. “What you searching for the referee for? You Tom Brady, you’re a seven time champion. You realize what kind of stuff you’ve endured all through these years within the league. What the hell are you having a look on the professional to make a call on that play?”

Smith believed Brady’s look towards the referee could have an effect on shielding gamers and the way they attack quarterbacks.

“On a play like that, you might be totally compromising defenses,” Smith persisted.

Smith took a shot on the head referee for the call he made.

“That’s probably the most bad calls I’ve ever seen on an NFL field, it’s inexcusable.
