Toxic masculinity just isn’t restricted to gender, MSNBC host Tiffany Pass and guest Errin Haines, the editor-at-massive for The nineteenth, declared on Saturday.
In a phase on The Pass Connection protecting Rep. Liz Cheney’s (R-WY) loss to Donald Trump-backed Harriet Hageman, Haines accused Trump assisting female candidates like Hagement and Kari Lake of pushing “poisonous masculinity” via their loyalty to the previous president.
Whereas Cheney earned some modest praise for her criticism of Trump and her work with the congressional subcommittee investigating the January 6 Capitol insurrection, Go used to be fast to note she’s “no hero” and there’s “no longer quite a lot of sunlight hours” between her and Trump on precise policies.
“She used to be a trump acolyte except the monster she helped create began to cannibalize and activate her,” Pass said of the alienated Republican. She then turned to Haines and a recent publish she authored on the 2020 presidential marketing campaign path titled, “What makes someone presidential — and can she ever be elected?”

Haines took particular problem with a latest viral comment Lake made wherein she said Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis have “BDE,” an acronym for “Big Dick Vitality.”
Move agreed with the point on poisonous masculinity, chiding Lake and others for being prepared to “protect” and “uphold” it because they wish “that white man energy.”
“You talk about toxic masculinity, Errin, and I would just say that they too are combating for poisonous masculinity … They need a few of that white man power. They are going to assist uphold it, they are going to help shield it,” she said.
On Lake’s “BDE” remark, she simply stated the Arizona Republican “clearly does not recognize what BDE looks as if.”
