A spokesperson for Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) mentioned the senator did not discuss to embattled Rep. George Santos (R-NY), who claimed she told him to “hang in there, friend” prior to the State of the Union address.

Sinema also denied any dialog befell, and slammed Newsweek for operating a story taking Santos’ phrase for it.
“[Y]ou put up their lies for the clicks,” she tweeted. “Journalism was once concerning the fact, however as of late Americans can’t depend on an objective truth.”
Santos faces greater issues than public scoldings. He gave his campaign a $705,000 loan just two years after reporting he had no property and a $fifty five,000 cash. He’s reportedly beneath state and federal investigation.
