BIGGS: No, I don’t. There is a political aspect to it, but it’s greater than that. In case you have the one that is meant to be the leader of the free world who can not, in fact form cognitive concept, and he gets lost. That’s a risk to the u . s . a . and the complete world. That’s not only a political commentary…that may be a coverage commentary. Who’s actually working the united states? That leads us to ask, is this an oligarchical kind of government at the moment, or is it the constitutional republic it’s meant to be?
FINNERTY: But congressman, you may agree that it’s political, simply within the experience that this is going to learn Republicans. And let’s say you get this, this three plus hours of audio recordings. And there’s one thing in reality embarrassing that Merrick Garland and his team cleaned up. Even supposing Merrick Garland the day prior to this stated he hasn’t even listened to the tapes. Your colleague Scott Fitzgerald asked him about that, and I was surprised that he hadn’t even listened to them himself. However let’s say there’s something embarrassing. You’re going to make that public, right?
BIGGS: Well, completely. So within the sense…the whole thing we do in DC, let’s face it, I work in a political surroundings. Everything you do has political ramifications. So I’m not going to dispute that. But what I will say is there are bigger implications than simply the political ramifications as smartly.
