Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH), who’s running for U.S. Senate in the Buckeye State made his presence known once once more on the Home floor on Thursday. The congressman trashed Home Republicans beforehand of a vote on a continuing decision to fund the government until February 18. The vote used to be 221-212, with Rep. Adam Kinzginer (R-IL) being the one Republican to vote in want.

“Our finest weapon during the last 50 years has been a powerful middle type!” Ryan thundered. “That’s been our best weapon. Our greatest potential has been–we reinvested into the USA, we reinvested into our communities, we invested in the technology. And we dominated the industries: steel, glass, aerospace.”

He then became his attention to Republicans and their stance in opposition to the stopgap funding decision, as well as their opposition to President Joe Biden’s Construct Again Better agenda:

And now, we’re listening to from the opposite facet, “Shut government down, don’t do anything else, we don’t wish to be an honest dealer. Tyranny!” What are you folks talking about?! We’re speaking about common preschool! And they’ve it as a communist indoctrination of the American scholar. It’s insane! We want to pass this appropriations bill.

Later in his speech, Ryan stated the U.S. needs to rebuild itself.

“We have to rebuild or u . s . a ., or this complete thing isn’t gonna work. And we got to ensure our youngsters are wholesome and skilled and expert so they may be able to thrive and outcompete china. that’s what this invoice is ready. It’s now not about tyranny. It’s no longer about some communist indoctrination. It’s about rebuilding america and kicking China’s rear-end.”
