President Donald Trump reacted on Reality Social with joy after being elected via the Kennedy Center to lead the board of trustees as their chairman.
The board voted on Wednesday afternoon to install Trump as the chairman, solidifying his intention to introduce vast reforms to the institution. The news came after Deborah Rutter announced she used to be be departing as the guts’s president.
Prior this week, former acting director of nationwide intelligence Ric Grenell used to be named by using Trump as period in-between government director of the Kennedy Middle. According to the Washington Post, the appointment puzzled leadership at the Kennedy Middle because the position does no longer exist.
Regardless, advised his followers on Truth Social that “it is a great honor” to guide the board as the center’s chairman.
Trump wrote, “President Donald J. Trump was once just unanimously elected Chairman of the Board of the celebrated Kennedy Middle in Washington, D.C. The President said, ‘It is a Nice Honor to be Chairman of The Kennedy Center, particularly with this wonderful Board of Trustees. We can make The Kennedy Center an awfully different and exciting position!’”
The new board of trustees is manufactured from all Trump appointees after the White Home terminated a couple of Biden-appointed board contributors ultimate week.
