Former President Donald Trump demanded attorneys common in GOP-dominated states investigate former Speaker Nancy Pelosi as a result of her husband offered Visa shares.

Paul Pelosi offloaded the inventory a couple of months earlier than the federal government sued the company in an antitrust lawsuit that accused the credit giant of monopolistic practices.

Consistent with Fox Business, Pelosi offered 2,000 shares of the stock on July 1st for about $500,000. However, it isn’t identified if Pelosi made any benefit from the transaction. The Justice Department introduced their lawsuit towards Visa earlier this week.

All through a rally on Friday in Michigan, Trump falsely claimed that Pelosi bought the Visa stock the day ahead of the DOJ made its announcement. He went on to demand the previous speaker and her husband be investigated.

TRUMP: So I’m not much into these things, but visa crashed for the reason that executive went after. The government filed an enormous suit towards Visa. Nancy and her husband bought their inventory the day sooner than it used to be announced.

TRUMP: Nancy Pelosi. So why don’t we get some AG somewhere, like in a Republican territory, and why don’t we get them to, do a little investigation? Offered the Visa inventory! Are you listening? They’re probably turning off the cameras now.
