Former President Donald Trump ripped Republican major rival Nikki Haley and tried to associate her together with his 2016 rival Hillary Clinton in an e mail sent out following the 2nd 2024 Republican main debate on Wednesday.

In an e-mail titled, “The Actual Nikki Haley,” the Trump marketing campaign listed a sequence of old rates from Haley, whom Trump appointed ambassador to the United International locations in 2017.

“Hillary Clinton Is an Inspiration to Nikki Haley,” claimed the marketing campaign at the high of the e-mail, quoting a 2012 New York Instances article where Haley stated, “The reason I if truth be told ran for office is as a result of Hillary Clinton.”

The email also attacked Haley for wanting to ship “Extra American Fighter Planes to Gas the Conflict” in Ukraine, for being “Weak on Immigration” and no longer helping a southern border wall in 2015, for “Threatening Medicare and Social Security,” and for previously saying she would no longer run for president if Trump used to be also in the race.

“Looks as if Team Trump thinks there’s a brand new individual in 2d situation,” reacted NBC News reporter Allan Smith on Twitter after the e-mail was despatched out.

All the way through the talk, Haley lashed out at opponents Vivek Ramaswamy and Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), and attempted to position herself as the most hawkish candidate on China and TikTok.

Following the debate, Haley led the Drudge File’s poll at 37% — an 18% lead over Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, as of writing, who came second at 19%.
