Former President Donald Trump has fired a shot across the bow on the man broadly regarded as his biggest roadblock to securing the Republican nomination for president in 2024, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL).
In an interview with the Washington Post’s Josh Dawsey printed Thursday, Trump passive-aggressively warned the Florida governor to not run in opposition to him in 2024, should he make a decision to pursue a 2d term in workplace. The feedback directed in opposition to DeSantis came all over a portion of the interview when Trump touted his potential among the many GOP electorate, despite rising evidence on the contrary.

Different Republicans, comparable to [former Vice President Mike] Pence, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former secretary of state Mike Pompeo, would not need to run in opposition to him in a 2024 Republican presidential primary season, [Trump] stated. None of them have dominated out challenging him.
“If I ran, I can’t think about they’d want to run. Some out of loyalty would have had a troublesome time running.
