Vice presidential nominee JD Vance fielded a question from the top of the Republican ticket all the way through a city corridor hosted with the aid of Chris Cuomo on NewsNation on Thursday.

The Ohio senator took questions on a bunch of topics for an hour that at one point was once interrupted by a planned telephone name from former President Donald Trump. right through which the town corridor received chummy.

“now We have a name right now from former President Donald John Trump,” Cuomo declared to an target market of undecided voters, lots of whom clapped upon Trump’s introduction. “He desires to weigh in. Mr. President, I do know there’s a bit of little bit of a delay. Can you hear us, and what’s your query?”

“Well, I will be able to hear you, Chris, and I do have a query,” Trump said. “And I believe it will be rather a fascinating one. The reply must be simple. How good is Donald J. Trump?”

Vance and the target audience laughed.

“Take your time, think about it,” Cuomo stated.

“Neatly, first of all, Sir, that is purported to be undecided voters. I’d hope that I have your vote, of all individuals. But here’s– first of all, Sir, after all, you’re very sensible. And we each agree. We both agree that it’s essential to have sensible folks operating the government.”

Vance proceeded to put it on thick, praising Trump’s “capability to relate to anyone in any surroundings,” pointing out that “that’s the authentic brilliance of Donald J. Trump.”

“That’s very nice, and I enjoy it,” Trump spoke back. “Perhaps I’ll ask a second one. I watched, imagine it or not, CNN last evening. And in watching it, I watched the town hall with Kamala. Let me ask you for a second [unintelligible] and it was now not just right. How brilliant is Kamala?”

Vance laughed nervously.

“That’s an extraordinarily difficult one, Sir,” he responded. “I’m supposed to say one thing–”

“Don’t say it,” Trump interrupted. The former president then dubiously claimed he and Vance are “leading by means of a landslide” in the polls.

He then bid Cuomo and Vance adieu to applause.
